Creating A Rule in Classwize
- Open up Classwize at https://classroom.us-1.familyzone.io/login/oj2qdWVEvr and login.
- Choose the class you want to start and click Start Class (If you have made changes to your roster in Google, you will need to sync first in the top right corner)
- Choose an end time and start class.
- Choose Rules in the top right corner.
- Choose Create Rule.
- Type your requested url to block or allow.
- Choose Blocked if this rule is meant to block content. Choose Allow if the rule is meant to allow content.
- Choose specific students or the Whole class for this rule to apply.
- This rule will now be saved for this class and will apply every time you start the class.
Changing a Rule in Classwize
- Open up Classwize at https://classroom.us-1.familyzone.io/login/oj2qdWVEvr and login.
- Choose the class you want to start and click Start Class (If you have made changes to your roster in Google, you will need to sync first in the top right corner)
- Choose an end time and start class.
- Choose Rules in the top right corner.
- Choose to toggle between Blocked and Allow to quickly turn the rule on or off. You can also choose the Pencil Icon to edit the rule and change the targeted audience.
