As some of you using Chromebooks may have noticed, Zoom is a bit different there than in the other apps. 

One of these differences is the microphone adjustment, or lack-thereof and an issue where it is hard for others to hear you at times. This can be because the microphone might need to be able to auto adjust. 

If you are using Zoom on a Chromebook, you can change these settings by clicking on the Up Arrow or "Carrot" next to the microphone at the bottom of the Zoom window. Then choose Audio Settings. 

You will get a new window where you can check a box that says "Automatically adjust microphone volume" and this should help with others being able to hear you. See image below to see the various steps.
