Below are the steps you will need to delete the proxies on your device along with a video going through the steps. 


iPhone/iPad

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Click WiFi settings
  3. Find your connected network when at school (Ithaca Secure or Ithaca Students). Click the blue "i" (or arrow if on iOS 6 or lower) to go into that network's settings.
  4. Scroll down to the section that says "HTTP Proxy" and make sure Off is selected. Previously, Manual would have been chosen. 
  5. Click the Back WiFi button at the top. You are now set.

Android Phone/Tablet

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Click WiFi settings
  3. Press and hold the school WiFi connection (Ithaca Secure or Ithaca Students).
  4. Select Modify Network Configuration
  5. Select Advanced Settings
  6. Delete and/or uncheck proxy settings.

Windows 7 School Desktop/Laptop

  1. Go to your start icon.
  2. Type the word "proxy" and choose the option "Configure proxy server"
  3. Choose the "LAN Settings" button.
  4. Ensure "Automatically detect settings" is checked. 
  5. Uncheck the boxes in the "Proxy Server" section at the bottom. 
  6. Select ok. You are all set.
